Adoptable Horses

The horses at A Little Bit of Heaven come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances, from former brood mares to injured, pregnant, starving, or sick horses neglected by previous owners, to those who come from caring homes that could no longer afford to keep them. All of the horses listed here are available for adoption. Help us give them a second chance at life! Meet the Horses

Sponsor Us!

Many of the horses at A Little Bit of Heaven are in active rehabilitation. Most will eventually be available for adoption, while a small handful will remain on-site as permanent, working residents (please see each individual's story for details). Fostered Horses

In addition to the horses we have on-site at our rehabilitation center, some A Little Bit of Heaven horses are fostered out to generous individuals who temporarily take on their care and expenses. While some horses are on foster-to-adopt plans, most are available for outside adoption.Meet the Horses

Help Us Help Them

If you are interested in helping our horses directly, consider sponsorship, fostering, or even adopting!

Sponsor a Horse All of your donations directly benefit our rehab horses - from covering the cost of feed, medical care, and training, to offsetting operational expenses. It costs about $100 per day to care for our horses. You can help by becoming a sponsor! Many people sponsor horses on a recurring monthly basis, but one-time sponsorships are also welcome! Sponsorships vary in amount based on what individual sponsors are comfortable with. We do not set fixed amounts because every little bit helps our horses.

Foster a Horse If you have the space, time and money to temporarily care for a horse please consider fostering! By fostering a horse you assume responsibility for its care but are not committed to keeping it. Even providing a foster home for a short time saves funds and provides an open spot for another horse in need.
