Ginger

Ginger is a red roan mare who came from a herd of 14 horses who were being sent to slaughter. Her age is estimated at around 5 years, and she is currently being set up to be a roping horse. Ginger is a permanent resident of A Little Bit of Heaven and relies on sponsors for support. Sponsor Ginger

Journey

Journey came to A Little Bit of Heaven from a herd that was being sent to slaughter. She came to us with a yearling foal who was adopted out through the Silver Star Ranch. Journey is a beautiful paint mare who rides well, and is child-safe and child-friendly. She is a permanent resident of A Little Bit of Heaven and depends on sponsorships to assist with her care. Baby

Baby is a bay mustang mare with a black mane and tail. She is over 20 years old and has a scar on her muzzle where her halter had grown into her face prior to arrival at A Little Bit of Heaven. Baby has a permanent home at our facility, and relies on the generosity of sponsors for her care. Sponsor Baby

Sponsor a Horse All of your donations directly benefit our rescue horses - from covering the cost of feed, medical care, and training, to offsetting operational expenses. It costs about $100 per day to care for one of our horses. You can help by becoming a sponsor! Many people sponsor horses on a recurring monthly basis, but one-time sponsorships are also welcome!

Foster a Horse If you have the space, time and money to temporarily care for a horse please consider fostering! By fostering a horse you assume responsibility for its care but are not committed to keeping it. Even providing a foster home for a short time saves funds and provides an open spot for another horse in need.
