Horse of the Month

Quickie
Our horse of the month for August is Quickie! Quickie is an outstanding loveable boy. He came in last fall and had since been fostered out. He had dropped a large amount of weight and was one of 3 horses we brought back here. Since his return to us, Quickie has been doing phenomenal! He is looking better and is able to be ridden again. Quickie gave rides at our recent Open House and handled it like a pro! We are so proud of his progress!

Volunteer Spotlight

Scott
We have a very special volunteer of the month. Hailey Delaney is a little girl who came to our Open House, started taking lessons, and is now volunteering. Hailey helps with chores a few times a week, and can be found in any one of the pens loving on our horses. She has been known to call me in the middle of the day just to come hang out and help in anyway she can. We are proud to have this remarkable young ladyand her parents as part of our team. Thank you for all you do, Hailey, and wonderful job!

Our Mission

To take in unwanted, mistreated, abused or neglected horses to rehabilitate and place them in good homes, thus preventing good horses from going to slaughter. Our goal is to help each horse find its purpose and give it a chance in life to meet its fullest potential.
