Foster a Horse

Our facility is currently operating at full capacity. If you have the space, time and money to temporarily care for a horse please consider fostering one of our horses! By fostering a horse you assume responsibility for shelter, feeding, and care but are not committed to keeping it permanently. Even providing a foster home for a short time saves critical funds and provides an opening for another horse in need. If you would like to consider fostering a horse, contact us for an application and include the name of the horse you wish to foster!
Terms for Fostering
If you decide to foster a horse you will be held to the following terms, in addition to those listed in the fostering contract:
- You will permit an LBH representative to conduct a site visit at the prospective foster care facility prior to approval of the foster agreement.
- You will be responsible for all costs of caring for the fostered horse, including but not limited to hay, grain, and farrier work. A Little Bit of Heaven, Inc. will be responsible for veterinary care.

- Horses must be fed 2-3 times per day, and monitored for good health and weight.
